Ministry is one of those ‘church words’ that we use to describe a big complex topic. In general terms Ministry is what we do as a response to our faith and relationship with God. While this includes pretty much everything we do as a church (including worship, social action, prayer, education etc.), the ‘ministries’ listed under this category here on our website might be defined as part of our response to what Jesus called the ‘greatest commandment’. Which is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind and love your neighbour as yourself” (Matthew 22: 27-39). And of course, the answer to the question ‘who is my neighbour?’ is… everyone!
